MAP, Community Mental Health Centers
Individuals who experience one of the autism spectrum disorders may have behavioral health needs that are best addressed though this system. Additionally, there is some evidence that family members of individuals with ASD -- especially primary care providers -- may experience stress-related mental health issues more often than the general population. All community mental health centers take Medicaid, as well as private insurance.
